Legal
Terms of service
The basis on which this site is offered and how a coordination relationship would begin.
DRAFT — PENDING LEGAL REVIEW. These terms are a working draft prepared for review by a qualified lawyer. They are not legally approved, do not constitute a statement of compliance, and may change before publication.
Status of these terms
This document sets out the intended commercial relationship. It is published for review and is not yet a binding contract. The version in force will be dated and published before any service is sold.
What we are
MediBridge China is a medical and travel coordination service, not a healthcare provider, hospital, clinic, medical institution or insurer. We arrange information, non-clinical accompaniment, interpretation support, wellness and cultural experiences, itineraries and logistics. We do not provide medical diagnosis, prescriptions or treatment.
No medical advice, no guarantee
Nothing on this site is medical advice or a recommendation of treatment. All medical decisions and treatments are made by appropriately licensed healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions. Appointment availability, treatment suitability and clinical outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Service scope
Each engagement is limited to what a written quotation describes. Anything not listed as included is excluded. Requests that fall outside our scope — clinical judgement, emergency care, immigration advice, insurance claims — are referred to the appropriate professional rather than improvised.
Quotations and confirmation
Preliminary suggestions are not offers. A service exists only once we issue a written quotation and you confirm it in writing. Quotations state their validity period, what is included, what is excluded, and which items still depend on third-party confirmation.
Fees and third-party costs
Our coordination and concierge fees are separate from third-party charges. Hospital, clinic, transport and accommodation costs are set by those providers and paid to them directly; we do not present them as our prices. Payment mechanics will be stated in the quotation.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms for our own services will be stated in each quotation, including any notice period and any work already performed. Third-party cancellation rules are set by the provider concerned and are outside our control. A draft refund schedule will be reviewed by counsel before any sale.
Third-party medical providers
Hospitals, clinics and practitioners are independent of us. They control their own scheduling, pricing, clinical decisions and record-keeping, and they are responsible for the care they provide. We do not supervise, direct or guarantee their work, and we are not liable for their acts or omissions or for clinical outcomes.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, disclosing what a provider reasonably needs to know, holding valid travel documents, obtaining any visa required, and arranging insurance appropriate to your journey.
Liability
We take care in what we arrange, but we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent providers, or for clinical outcomes. Any limitation of liability will be set out in your written quotation and is subject to the law that applies to our agreement.
Governing law and disputes
The governing law, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution route are not yet fixed. They will be confirmed with counsel and stated here before any service is sold; nothing in this draft should be read as choosing a forum.
Changes
These terms may change as the service develops. The version that applies to a confirmed engagement is the one issued with your quotation.
